#RatifyC190
Campaign to ratify ILO's Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (C190) in Sri Lanka
What is ILO C190?
ILO Convention No. 190 (or C190 for short) is the first international treaty to address violence and harassment in the world of work. The Convention was adopted in June 2019, by the International Labour Conference of the International Labour Organization (ILO), and came into force on 25 June 2021.
Eliminating Violence and Harassment in the World of Work
The ILO C190 campaign aims to raise awareness about the reality of violence and harassment at work and at the workplace, and to advocate for governments to ratify and then implement C190. The campaign seeks to convey a positive message about how C190 will contribute to the physical and mental well-being of millions of workers, and improve the lives of all people in the world of work.
